Items not to forget!
After you have registered for the 2nd Annual DC METRO EGGFEST, please remember the following:
» You are responsible to have food samples for the attendees to taste.
» The gate will be open for cooks at 7:30 am.
» Lighting of the Eggs is at 8:00 am.
» The general public will be allowed in at 9:00 am.
We will provide the following:
» Large Big Green Egg, unless another size is requested
» Egg Nest (Stand)
» Lump Charcoal
» Fire starters
» Ashtool
» Tables for preparing food
We have made a list of the items that you should consider bringing to the event.
You should consider bringing the following:
» Meat / Ingredients / Condiments
» Toothpicks for samples
» Cooking / Cutting Utensils to use when cooking and preparing
» Recipe(s) to give out to guests
» Cooler(s) and ice
» Hat or some type of head covering
» Small E-Z up Tent for Shade
» Ice chests
» Please keep in mind proper food prep issues.
» Please bring what you need to keep food fresh
» Table for cooking prep
» Plates and utensils
» Chairs if needed
» Prep gloves
